Tanzania 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safari

After breakfast our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha, and we will drive up to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Then we will continue crossing the Ngorongoro Highland up to the entrance of Serengeti National Park, where we will start the game drive heading to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. Serengeti is a park located in northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site occupying an area of around 15,000 square kilometres. With over 2 million herbivores, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species, this area has massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. However, the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile and the rare oribi antelope.

Overnight: Serengeti Safari Lodge

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a game drive with a picnic lunch. On this day, your guide will try to cover the best parts of Serengeti Central which you couldn’t cover on the first day. In the late afternoon, you will drive out of Serengeti and drive up to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will stay overnight on the crater rim.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Safari Lodge

After breakfast, you will drop inside the crater where you will be able to see a great number of animals living within the crater including lions, buffalos, zebras, hyenas, and antelopes. If you’re lucky, you will be able to enjoy a rhinoceros picnic lunch along the crater lake. The crater is the world’s largest caldera which was formed after an explosion that occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago. The crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. The area has around 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds.
After the game drive, you will be transferred to Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport where it will be the end of our service.
